(NYSE: FSH), announces the latest innovation in HyClone® BioProcess Container™ Systems, Large Volume 2-D Face-Ported BPC® flexible containers. These containers are suitable for variety of liquid handling applications in research and biopharmaceutical production. Critical applications include formulation of media, buffers, and other process liquids; sterile/aseptic fill and harvest of bioreactors and fermentors; waste collection; and transport and storage of bulk intermediate and final product.

Large Volume 2-D Face-Ported BPC systems represent a cost effective alternative over 3-D style BPC systems, and together with HyClone’s drums form a complete liquid handling system. These BPC products are manufactured of HyClone’s proprietary HyQ® CX5-14 film, which demonstrates outstanding tensile properties, low gas permeability, a low profile of leachable compounds, and an animal derived component free (ADCF™) product contact surface. Available in 50, 100, 200, and 300 L sizes, these BPC systems can be customized with a variety of end connectors and fluid paths incorporating sterile filters.
