Thermo Fisher Scientific Launches Versatile Cell Boost Process Supplement Kit

Logan, Utah – June 8, 2007–
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, has developed a unique cell culture process optimization kit. The Cell Boost Process Supplement Kit contains a 100 g sample of six unique supplements designed to increase cell productivity in a variety of cell lines. Each supplement is developed through the Metabolic Pathway Design™ and is chemically-defined with no animal derived components. They are designed to provide nutrients such as, amino acids, vitamins, lipids, cholesterol, growth factors and glucose in novel combinations and applicable to multiple cell lines. The supplements aid in fed-batch culture applications by providing concentrated nutrient solutions during mid and late cell culture stages. The supplements are customizable to meet particular cell line and process requirements.
