Fisher Biosciences unit, HyClone, offers versatile medium for hybridoma cell lines

LOGAN, Utah, May 09, 2006 - HyClone, a leading provider of cell-nutrition and bioprocessing products and services and a unit of Fisher Biosciences, has developed a versatile new medium for hybridoma cell lines. HyQ®CDM4MAb™ increases process yields for the manufacture of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies in a variety of engineered hybridoma and recombinant myeloma cell lines.

HyQ®CDM4MAb™ contains no animal-derived components or undefined hydrolysates. It is available as a liquid formulation, with and without L-glutamine, in small-volume bottles and in HyClone's large-scale BioProcess Container™ systems. It is also available in dry powdered formulation for on-site hydration in HyClone's unique HyNetics™ single-use container technology or in existing media formulation facilities.
