The following articles were published in the HyClone Technical news letters Art to Science.

 

HyClone will heat inactivate or gamma irradiate serum upon request. The standard treatment for heat inactivation is 56 degrees C for 30 minutes. The standard irradiation dose is 25-40 kGy (2.5 megarads). Irradiation requirements for conformance to the EMEA veterinary guideline requires a minimum 30 kGy (3.0 megarads) dose.
