HyQ CDM4NS0 Brochure*

HyQ CDM4NS0 is a chemically-defined medium containing no animal derived components. This regulatory-friendly medium is developed through Metabolic Pathway Design™ to increase process yields in the manufacture of monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) using a variety of NS0 cell clones. HyQ CDM4NS0 requires no cholesterol or GS supplementation, as it has sufficient amounts to support NS0 cell culture already in the formulation. It has been successfully tested in a variety of culture systems, including T-flasks, shaker flasks and bioreactors using batch and fed-batch strategies.

HyQ CDM4NS0 contains Pluronic® F68, and does not contain L-glutamine and phenol red. HyQ CDM4NS0 is available in small and large-scale liquid volumes ranging from 500 mL PETE bottles to 500 L BioProcess Container™ Sytems (BPC®). It is also available in a cost-effective dry powdered formulation for on-site hydration in our unique HyNetics™ single-use production technology or in existing media formulation facilities.

Production of IgG using a proprietary GS-NS0 cell line cultured in HyQ CDM4NS0 during 100 mL shaker flask cultures. Fed-Batch culture employed HyQ® LS1000™ (SH30554) and HyQ® GS-Max™ (SH30586) at 72 hours.
