Large volumes of DPM are also manufactured in HyClone’s new, state-of-the-art, continuous micronization facility. This newly-expanded facility has been designed with strict environmental controls including temperature, humidity, pressure, and dust containment for high throughput production of DPM products. The facility optimizes gravity flow, and vacuum transfer eliminating the need for fiber dust bags and powder filters associated with positive pressure transfer systems.

HyClone’s large pharmaceutical blenders, in conjunction with the new micronization capabilities, produces homogenous lot sizes up to 6,200 kg. Accuracy of each medium formulation is confirmed using a computerized, bar-coded weight verification system.
