Benefits of Single-Use
Bioprocessing Systems
Single-use
bioprocessing concepts are revolutionizing the biopharm industry and have
gained wide acceptance among industry leaders, engineering companies,
professional associations and regulatory authorities.
HyClone’s
BioProcess Container™ (BPC) systems are specifically designed for a variety
of sterile and aseptic applications in the biotechnology, veterinary,
and biopharmaceutical markets from research to production. BPC systems
consist of flexible disposable plastic containers, ports, tubing and fittings
and may incorporate ancillary components like filters, valves, etc. The
container chambers themselves are offered in a wide range of volumes from
50 mL to more than 1500 L, and come pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation.
All BPCs meet stringent regulatory and facility requirements.
HyClone’s BPC disposable
systems allow you to embrace the benefits of these new manufacturing concepts
to their fullest.

Retrofits
BPC systems
retrofit easily into existing facilities. They can be manufactured with
customized porting, tubing and end treatments, including filters, to accommodate
different process requirements such as flow rates and connectology. There
is no need for costly remodeling of customer production systems.
